Certificate attestation is required in UAE in order to proceed in your transaction. Any certificate issued from outside UAE and required to be officially used in UAE should be attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country of issue, the embassy/ consulate of UAE in the country of issue, and the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Which documents should be attested in UAE?
Marriage certificate required to be submitted for immigration in order to obtain a visa for a wife should be attested from the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Birth certificate required to be submitted for immigration in order to obtain a visa for a child should be attested from the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Degree certificate required to be submitted for Ministry of Higher Education in order to obtain an equivalency certificate should be attested from the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Powers of Attorney issued from outside should be attested from the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs in order to be officially used in UAE.
Memorandums of association issued from outside should be attested from the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs in order to be officially used in UAE.
Minutes of meetings issued from outside should be attested from the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs in order to be officially used in UAE if it is required to open a branch for a company in UAE.
First, the certificate should be attested from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country of issue as the embassy will not attest the certificate unless it is attested by Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country of issue. Then the certificate can be attested from the embassy, and finally the attestation of the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs then you can officially use the certificate.
